Yes, we have a Webstore that is going live in 2021 but the login credentials of the previous store will still function perfectly.

No, this is a self-help store. If you wish for formal quotes, please contact our sales staff (sales@sabs.co.za).
No, you can buy a number of licences for various persons in your company or organization (or for contractors) but you cannot buy a single standard that can be stored on a network server or intranet with access to many staff members. For those types of products, talk to our sales staff about multiple-user licences and subscription products.
No, at this stage we only sell the latest editions of standards. (Our sales staff can assist with withdrawn standards.) Each edition of a standard becomes a new product. If you buy a specific edition of a standard and it is changed the next day, you will only get the older edition. In this regard, it is best to find out from our Customer Relations (info@sabs.co.za) when a specific standard is due for a revision.
Yes, with the new store all standards would need to have licences that are allocated. This applies to PDF versions as well as hard copies versions. If you buy the standard for yourself, then you allocate it for yourself. This allows for the watermark (text that display on top of each page of the standard to reflect your name as the legitimate licence holder). You could, as the procurement officer buy licences for various persons in a company or even for third party contractors. After buying the various licences, you would need to allocate the licences to the individuals by mentioning the names and surnames and email addresses. Their names would then reflect on the watermarks (for the PDF and printed versions) and in the case of PDFs, the end-user would be able to download the PDF standard from the SABS Webstore.
Sign in to the store, and click on - My Account. From the menu options, find - My Licences. If you click on the filename under My Licences, the PDF will either open in the Adobe Reader plugin or in Adobe Reader (or other Reader) and if you have Adobe Acrobat installed, in Acrobat. You can then save the file to a folder on your local disk and then print it if you wish.
Yes, we can only give support with regards to Adobe Reader (available as a free download from the Adobe Website https://www.adobe.com/products/reader.edu.html ) or Adobe Acrobat.
Check to see if other PDF files on your computer can open up. Contact Webstore Support if needed.

You should follow the instructions on the screen in order to find the bank details of the SABS Standards Division. Payments should only be made into this account and not into the SABS Commercial account. Customers are advised to use the order number as a reference (not the name or company name).
Funds must reflect on the SABS bank statement before a file is released to the buyer. If a standard is required urgently, the best option is to pay by credit card or instant EFT).
